din Posted November 24, 2005 Report Share Posted November 24, 2005 Hi, i a recent convert from Azureus and im wondering how to seed files i have, by downloading torrents from other sites and then letting µTorrent seed them. i have tried selecting the downloaded folder when the torrent is opened in µTorrent but it just redownloads the stuff.is there anything like the seeding only option in Azureus? DutchDude Posted November 24, 2005 Report Share Posted November 24, 2005 Well..... after downloading the torrent and settings the download directory correctly it should start seeding all files that match the torrent, and download those that don't.My best guess is that the files you are trying to seed (you did mention using a different .torrent file) do not match the ones in the original .torrent file which you used to download the files in the first place.....I think uTorrent exactly does what it was meant to do....
