training42 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 I just connected my Linksys WRT54GS router. I have been reading about the problems with firmware with this router, however my firmware seems to be newer than the firmware listed as being a problem. Anyway, it seems everything is ok, uploading at my max, and downloading just fine. So, what's the problem? I have the little tab at the bottom that says I am not connectable. So, I have to foward my port. I haven't done that yet, but like I said, Utorrent seems to be running just fine. So, why does everything seem ok, yet utorrent still shows me as unconnectable? Also, I just downloaded something from a private tracker. The sitr showed I was unconnectable, yet I was still able to upload and download, and add to my ratio.Sorry for being so long winded, I am just a little confused. Thanks
Saribro Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Unconnectable means other people cannot connect to you, however, you can still connect to other people, and thus upload and download with those you connected to.
training42 Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 Gotcha - I still need to port foward...thanks
