Accipiter
I'm using Comcast Cable internet, and can only get download speeds of about 50-60kB/s. When I download things off the internet I've seen speeds as high as 450kB/s I'm on a Linksys WRT54GS Version 6.0, so I upgraded to DD-wrt version 23, sp2, Micro. But the problem persists. How do I fix this?

Accipiter
I had comcast before though (western massachusetts) and they were obscenely fast. I live in eastern massachusetts now and they crawl.

Accipiter
no way around it I suppose?
Ultima
There have been talks and discussions, but AFAIK, no concrete way to get around it has been suggested. I might be wrong, though, so try searching the forums for sandvine OR comcast.
