glesconz
Hi! Im looking at using utorrent, and have read about portforwarding, but i have a DSL cable modem, not a router. do i still need to portforward? and if so, how? I`m using XP SP2, modem is Motorola Surfboard SB5100i. Network card is onboard, VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter, 6103L chip. I am not connected to any network, just one personal pc. My choice of firewall is Windows Firewall. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.Glenn
Firon
If the motorola surfboard is not a router, then you don't need to forward any ports.
Ultima
If port forwarding continues to be a problem, though, the problem probably lies with the fact that SurfBoards are known to cause those problems in the first place
