bellouth dsl modem/router 2wire 2791G-B

I have updated my service to a 6MB dsl using a 2wite 2701G-B Gateway Modem/Router

and I have attempted to open a port for uTorrent with no luck the settings indicate that I have configured them for opening the port but it never test as open

any suggestions on what else I should set

Hi, Have you setup a Static IP for your computer?? IF so have you set it outside the range of the DHCP?? What port did you open for uTorrent??

2Wire requires you to first create a port forward "application". Then you have to assign that "application" to the computer name in the drop down list that matches the computer you want to use uTorrent on. If you have multiple MAC addresses (one wireless, one wired, etc) for one machine, it gets kind of tricky...
