syfer
Hi there I have a big problem with µTorrent. I recently bout a new Netgear RangeMax™ NEXT Wireless N ADSL 2+ Modem Router - DG834N which I got today.I went to http://www.portforward.com/english/routers...4N/Utorrent.htmWhich I did and still did not work.I also have McAfee Total Protection 2008 and have added the port in that as well but it still firewalled. I then tried off McAfee firewall and its still red and says its been firewalled any idea?
ajones81
Many a time simply turning off the firewall doesn't disable it's system hooks, so you need to uninstall it fully and then check if it works.
kerplunkuk
I have this router and I can confirm it works with utorrent with no issues. I would suggest it is software related.

kerplunkuk
I am with Pipex. I suggest removing McAfee and trying again. ALso make sure the ports aim towards the right machine in the firewall in the router as I have had issues with this.
