t parker Posted November 23, 2007 Report Share Posted November 23, 2007 i'm trying to protect myself from the RIAA and all that, and i'd love to use peerguardian, but they don't have a stable (or working...) version for windows vista. and i'm not looking to switch back to azureus to get the safepeer plugin. is there any other programs out there i can get to protect myself?i'm open for any suggestions. Switeck Posted November 24, 2007 Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 Nothing works very well on BitTorrent because EVEN IF YOU block 100% of the RIAA connections 100% of the time, the BitTorrent TRACKER itself reports your ip to the RIAA connections.But to block corrupting poisoners, ipfilter.dat in µTorrent should work as well (or better!) as Peer Guardian 2 does...or did.
