dutchM
Since about 2 weeks ago, I can't get my connection status to show a green light. I have all anti-virus software and firewalls disabled on my computer. The port I use on uTorrent is forwarded correctly.I don't really know what else it could be. Maybe a firewall on my router? If so, how can I check to see that? It's a linksys router.
TheBear
What port are you using for torrent traffic?
Ultima
Disabling the firewall won't help. Making sure that it is configured properly, or uninstalling it entirely is the only way to make sure that it isn't interfering.Did you set a static IP up for your computer, outside of your Linksys' DHCP range? dutchM
I have tried multiple ports bear. Right now I am using 44462.I just set up a static IP and it works for a few seconds, then goes back to an orange icon. When I go to the speed guide and press the button to see if my port is forwarded correctly, it then goes back to green. That doesn't make sense to me, but maybe it will to some of you. Firon
Yellow is indeterminate. If the port tester says it's fine, it probably is.
