cap2587
I am new to using utorrent. My Internet is cable and is quite fast. what are the optimum settings I need to establish. Just trying to see if I have everything set up correct to enable the fastest download/upload speed. Is the speed determined by Internet speeds or is there other factors? Any tips or related atricles. Switeck
For ComCast, you're probably forced to use xx/768k or worse, xx/384k settings in Speed Guide (CTRL+G).Speed is limited by how fast the peers+seeds are on the torrent/s you're connected to...and how much you're uploading to other peers. (Give them nothing, get little-to-nothing in return!)Being firewalled in uTorrent (no green light at bottom) will likely cripple the download speeds you get and may even make your upload speeds unreliable as well.Connecting to your router via a wireless connection will force you to allow fewer max connections...or you may experience partial or total connectivity loss.
