sweetfee Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 EDITED: 8:15pm I've notice that when i download the open office as a test torrent, my speeds reach peak, but if i pause or stop it and put another torrent to dl my speed go right back down to 13.5 peak. Ive read the rules did everything they said still my dl speed wouldn't pass 32KB/s. I've got a WRT54gs router and the firmware version is 4.70.6, i've forwarded the ports. Switeck Posted March 17, 2008 Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 Your upload is probably tiny, and on OpenOffice you typically DON'T have to upload to anyone...so your download speeds aren't impacted by uploading. Once you start other torrents, you're probably trying to upload too fast for your internet connection...and that overload cripples download speeds.
