smeggy3450 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 I just started trying to use utorrent and cannot get a download going on my computer although it will work on someone else's.When I check to see if the port is open i get the message that port xxxx on x.x.x.x is not open. what ip address should be showing in that message? jewelisheaven Posted March 21, 2008 Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 When you run start->run->cmd /k ipconfig the LAN IP needs to exist for the rule in your hardware router. The port __ on X.x.x.x should be the same at all these sites http://www.canyouseeme.org and http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port=YOURPORTNUMBER and https://www.grc.com/x/portprobe=YOURPORTNUMBER .
