slane147
Sometimes when I recheck torrents it shows that I am missing a couple of bytes even though the torrents were fully downloaded. I have noticed this a couple of times with different torrents. What I do is: I download a torrent and seed it for a while, remove it from utorrent and after a while I open the torrent again in utorrent for seeding.A second note is: are the rechecking mechanism different between bittorrent clients? One time I was running bitlord next to utorrent. I loaded some torrents on bitlord which I previously downloaded with utorrent and the same thing happens. Some files show that they were incomplete even though they were fully downloaded by utorrent.
Firon
Check your RAM (most likely culprit, try Memtest86+), IDE cables, HDD (use SpinRite). Generally such a problem is caused by faulty hardware.
