Popsy Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 I am using µtorrent 1.3 build 364,downloading mostly public tracker torrents.I have observed that when µtorrent has been running for 7-8 hrs at a stretch,the DHT peers reduce to zero,though the torrents keep on downloading albeit at a lesser speed.What is causing this & how can I counter it.Using Windows MCE.Thanks. Popsy Posted December 24, 2005 Author Report Share Posted December 24, 2005 But I have the "Network OK" sign throughout the process & I am not having any router/firewall problem with other clients I had been using.Router/firewall have been properly configured.BTW I have Zonealrm Pro & Yozan Router.Could u be a little more specific ?Thanks. Firon Posted December 24, 2005 Report Share Posted December 24, 2005 Make sure your router isn't blocking UDP connections (incoming on your selected port, and outgoing on ALL ports), make sure your firewall isn't blocking UDP connections (incoming on your selected port, and outgoing on ALL ports). Also, you should be using Zone Alarm 6.xSome routers don't handle UDP well. You can rule that out by connecting directly to the modem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
