lobsterboy55 Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 After performing utorrent searches for music (i.e. I enter a band name and perform a search), I keep getting a pop-up window that directs me to a website labeled "xpscanner.com", where I will supposedly be able to download antiviral software. The pop-up contains misspelled words and really looks like bullshit. This has happened several times, with different searches. Each time this has happened, I have exited my web browser (Firefox) without clicking on the pop-up. I haven't had any other problems with my computer recently that would lead me to believe that a virus is screwing things up. I am using a Dell laptop, running XP. I am using uTorrent version 1.7.7.
