Switeck
We need more information...What is the availability you see on the torrent? Are there any hostile ips on that torrent? How many hash fails have you gotten? Is there any chance the torrent could be a fake? How fast is your internet connection both down and up?Are you being throttled by your ISP for exceeding monthly/daily/whatever bandwidth quota or fair-use policy?Does your ISP throttle BitTorrent traffic in general or time-of-day throttle? We certainly cannot answer those questions for you, but any one of them can be the cause of all your pain and suffering.Well, maybe I can guess some of it...If you happen to be using Bell Canada (Sympatico?) ADSL ISP, they have just recently started throttling ALL file-sharing traffic to extremely low speeds ALL hours of day at least in some locations...soon to be all locations. They have extended this policy also to any smaller ISPs that connect to the rest of the internet THROUGH them, so even if you change ISPs to a smaller local ISP in your area you'll likely be equally affected. Comcast and many other companies are throttling too. Our net neutrality is going bye-bye and nobody seems to care.
