Martcaster Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 When I try to restrict my upload speed (by right-clicking in the box) the speed reduces to close to what I specified, but at the next progress check it has reverted to what it was. I am firewalled (Windows) and use a router. My download speeds are disappointing but seem to increase as the upload speed decreases, but then have dropped again as the upload speed reverts to its previous. My nominal broadband speed from Virgin is 8 Mbps and I'm getting only about 6-7 kbps download when the upload speed is around 40-45 kbps. I know this forum is not about download speeds per se, but is there anything I can do to keep my upload speed where I want it?
