vajeeh
whenever i download a file i usually upload till the share ratio reaches 4. is this enough? i do want to upload to as many people as possible but i don't exactly have unlimited bandwidth.is there a general rule as to how much a person should upload so that files remain easily available to others? torrero
1.000 is okay and 1.500 enough. You should concentrate on torrents that really "need" seeding, because of seeds and peers leaving the torrent.
Firon
A ratio of at least one is good practice. Beyond that is up to you.
Yogirajj
Also keep in mind... I've had an experience were, the tracker I uploaded to, was from abroad. Because of this, I couldn't see any seeds, until after someone from the US downloaded the file.. Use your best judgment.. The worse thing that can happen, is that someone asks you to reseed...
