jdscott
I'm using the latest version of utorrent. Last night, downloaded and uploaded a bunch of stuff successfully. Today, all my downloads and seeding show as 0 (0) 0 (0) . Running Vista home. Was using a router but even took that off which didn't help. Turned off the firewall and virus protection. Nothing. Fiddled with all sorts of the preferences and nothing. Have put them back to defaults now. Not sure what I'm missing here. Says the port I'm using is fine. Switeck
Does your ISP (Shaw Cable?) throttle/disrupt/block BitTorrent traffic?
jdscott
I have noticed slow downs at times but never any actual stoppage. And another computer on the same network is able to using P2P fine. That's why it's gotta be my pc or client.
Switeck
Vista home may have a low half open max, like 2-5. Set uTorrent higher or equal to that, and you WILL have problems like you're seeing.
jdscott
Strangely, it looks like the problems was actually the two torrent sites I was using. Both were down at the same time. Thanks for the help.
