cyanide911
I am downloading a torrent with avalibility of around 8, and it is downloading fine at 35kbytes/sec(my connection's max speed).I added another torrent, this one with availiblity 13. But, this one downloads at <18kbps. Any idea why? Both have Green Ticks at the bottom and the Blue download arrow. The port is mapped in both successfully. GTHK
The seeds could be slower, or could be serving a lot of peers (check the seed/peer ratio). If some torrents download ok, including OpenOffice, Slackware, and Ubuntu torrents, then it's probably the swarm for that torrent.
cyanide911
The S to P ratio is 4(9):31(113)...is this bad?
GTHK
Not really, but more peers means more people that want the file. As a general rule, you want more seeds and less peers to download faster. It's just a rule of thumb though because a torrent with less seeds can still have really fast seeds.
