p3rs0n42
I'm downloading now. I have a Thompson SpeedToutch 585 router and in 30 minutes, It's averaged 3.2kb/s Wastes 1.79mb (14 hashfails) ... whatever they are...any suggestions to speed up? Switeck
Sounds like hostile fake peers and seeds. You'll need to use ipfilter.dat to block them.http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_is_ipfilter.dat.3FIf I had to guess, the ips are probably in the 38.x.x.x block or 208.x.x.x block...or both! You'll probably see groups of very similar ips, possibly only the last number differs....such as:38.117.0.15638.117.0.17538.117.0.199After that, you'll need to restart uTorrent to clear its memory of bad sources....Otherwise, legit peers and seeds may remain blocked by uTorrent's auto-ban feature (for hashfails), which can explain your very low download speed.
