Ultima
Hm try reading 1c3d0g's guide on setting µTorrent up. There are several people who have reported that it's helped them get optimal speeds, so maybe it might help you =]
Switeck
I've read numerous reports that Shaw cripples BitTorrent traffic -- slowing it to a fraction of the rated max line speed. So don't worry too much if you can't max out your connection no matter what settings you use.Be happy if you get 50 KB/sec down and 10 KB/sec up...many others on different ISPs don't get more than 5 KB/sec down and 1 KB/sec up. totalgamer777
Actually a couple minutes ago I was getting over 150kB/s down speed but then it just drops back to 30kB/s and doesn't go back up. Mabey if I use a different port for incoming connections it will help? Ive read the guide but it didn't really help. It could be worse.... it could be going at 2kB/s down speed lol. Switeck
Sounds like you're tripping their "line cripplers" when your download speed suddenly drops from 150 KB/sec to 30 KB/sec.You could try setting max download speed to 80 KB/sec...as their checker may be looking for speeds over 100 KB/sec before kicking in.
