Speed / Port open problems with Thomson ST780 WL

Hi there folks,

I got a problem, i use utorrent for some weeks now, and downloading was ok, uploading not really, so i used the speedguide, since then it's really bad with uploading.

So i tried the tersport, but isn't woking... gives me an error! Tried with the link:

www.portforward.com to get some info for my problem, even bought the PFConfig tool, but the problem is i have an router who is not in this list... Updated the list, but no Thomson ST780 WL in here....

So what do have to do, to get my config for utorrent the best way?

If you anwser, talk easy, because my undersant for computers is not this high kind level, sorry for this!

What's the MEASURED speed (from speed tests) of your connection, both down and up?

What settings are you using in uTorrent? (Even what you choose in Speed Guide will do if you didn't tweak the settings further.)

Got a router manual for that router?

If not, can you download one from the manufacturer's website?

Barring that, GOOGLE it!

Your modem and/or other software may be acting as a firewall to uTorrent.

thanx... i will check it out... Uhm this was my speedtest:

if no picture: Download= 757 kb/s Upload=295 Kb/s Latency= 103 ms

In this speedguide i've selected xx/256 k

the frame under the selection:

uploadlimit = 22 kb/s uploadslots = 3

connections by = 70 connections = 130

max active torrents= 2 max active = 1

So this are my settings right now!

gonna look to your signature, and let you know if it's working out!

At least you passed the first major hurdle of not using max download for uTorrent settings.
