briman027 Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 im really new to this but ive tried manually setting my torrent settings other ways but having no luck. im on a wireless dell laptop computer. my apartment complex has wifi so i just use it. is that the reason i cant get fast dl speeds on utorrent or is it because i heard its slower to use with windows vista? is there any downloads or a program that can set your settings for optimal performace for you? and is there a difference between bitcomet and utorrent?? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Firon Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 If you're using the complex's wifi, then you're behind a LAN, and you can never forward ports on it.
