rojanmove
I am on a fast college network, and I am downloading some big files from public trackers. Why is it that normally I will average around 100kb/s if that, while if one of my seeds is cool I break 4Mb/s. Obviously I am connecting to dozens of seeds, shouldn't the speed be able to be much higher than a total of around 100kb/s as obviously my maximum is quite high? What is bottlenecking me here? Switeck
Sometimes you're probably finding a seed that's in the same college as you and you're downloading from them without going through the slow internet connection...but instead by the local college network. You also need to make sure uTorrent's settings are set up based on your internet connection's sustainable upload speed.2nd link in my signature should give decent values to use if you know what the upload speed max is.
