sirian Posted July 31, 2008 Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 I am fairly new to p2p file sharing - but have at last managed to forward a port. Since doing this on my SmartAXmt882 router and getting the green tic my download has not improved at all. Also my router - internet or utorrent keeps crashing after a number of hrs and needs reseting to get it working again. Finally, I have zone alarm firewall installed which I disconnect during use and reconnect when I exit utorrent - problem is when I reconnect the firewall keeps blocking different ips from using my forwarded port for a long time after disconnection. Please does anyone else have similar problems and can someone explain why utorrent users appeart to be trying to access my computer long after I exit - these problems only became apparent when I forwarded a port.
