fr600
Hello,I've been using uTorrent for quite a long time and it has always been stable. Recently, I'm having issues with high speed transfer. Whenever someone downloads from me at 10mbps, my system RAM usage increase by 200-300 MB. If I exit uTorrent, it reduces again. I don't know what causing this, any idea?
thelittlefire
If uTorrent isn't ACTUALLY using the RAM, it's Windows cache. If you don't notice any slowdown you don't need to do anything. However if you do want to stop this from happening, go to Preferences > Advanced > Disk Cache and tick bypass windows disk cache for writes. If you can also upload that fast you may want to enable it for reads as well.

thelittlefire
Enable the bypass option for reads identical to the bypass you did on writes. You should no longer notice RAM inexplicably disappearing.
