devil123
First of all, great work! the web UI works like a charm. I love it.However, from time to time I have the need to start a (for example, linux iso) torrent from work. Our firewalls block any torrent, including legal onces. Hence the web UI. However, I have no way to get access to the files downloaded until I get home. Which can be troudblesome.A ability to download the downloaded files through the web UI (or even better, SFTP, would be awesome!
thelittlefire
... A torrent client has no need for HTTP/FTP downloads. Though if you search this forum I think you'll find someone's script for doing just this. Did you search first?
devil123
I am sorry if I were unclear. I am not looking for a way to solve this, but rather that I though it would make a good extra feature for the WebUI
thelittlefire
I understood this, but perhaps you don't understand what a p2p app does. The thread I mentioned is http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=43455 and the user who made it decided to implement this themselves This does require your own server though. thelittlefire
no problem. As for your requirements you need some HTTP server software which supports PHP I guess? You can click that user's name on the left side of the post.. and click on "view all posts" to see what prompted their urge to create such a file for uTorrent HTTP downloads FROM your uTorrent download computer.
