dmicsa
FF3 tells now "It seems like uTorrent is already running but not responding. Please closer all uTorrent processes and try again"It is inconvinient to close uTorrent each time a new stream is requested.
thelittlefire
I'm sorry what? What is the order of operations you perform in your browser to load torrents into uTorrent? Do you run Zone Alarm? What security/AV/firewall software do you use?
dmicsa
I use firefox normal like before click on a torrent file and before if uTorrent was active it will automatic add the new torrent to it. Now with 1.8 it doesn't do it anymore forcing me to close uTorrent first.I use NOD32 V2.x
thelittlefire
You updated? Remove and re-add the rules for utorrent... It shouldn't try to launch the window... what happens when you just double click the icon in the system tray?
dmicsa
TY The Little One! I'm in the middle of some big dowloads. I don't know what happen with'em when I remove uTorrent. I'll do that after they finish and I let u know. I used uTorrent + FF1,2,3 for more then 2 years now and only with this version of uTorrent is happening this forcing me to shutdown uTorrent each time when I append a new torrent that is really annoying. thelittlefire
Don't remove uTorrent. Remove the rules in the NOD32 you added before. I'm pretty sure you MUST do this on all pre-v 3.0 versions because it considers uTorrent an HTTP browser every time you upgrade. So you click the torrent in Firefox, then select "Open with"... uTorrent, and uTorrent normally pops up with the dialog asking you to select files?
