I'm a noob to torrents and 'seeding'

Hi,

Well I'm a noob to the whole torrent thing, I was wondering if my problem was normal.

Ok so I downloaded a torrent from a private tracker. It started downloading and maxed out my DL speed. After that, it automatically started seeding.

I look at the upload speed and it's 2-10kb/s! Compared to my DL speed which was 900kb/s and my ISP connection which has a max of 1300kb/s upload speed.

Is this normal for the 'seeding' speed? Or is it supposed to be higher than that?

I opened my ports and everything, what's the problem? Or is this normal?

Hi. no I think it's not normal.

But firstly, are you sure your upload rate is 1.3 Mbps with a max dwl rate of 0.9 Mbps ? It's 130 kbps no ?

I dunno which torrent it is but if this one is not popular, you can seed to several peers with a low upload rate.
