Resume download from a different windows

Hi. Sorry if it's been asked before, I looked around and didn't find anything similar.

I had uTorrent installed running Windows 2000.

I bought a new HDD and installed XP and uTorrent 1.8

I was wondering if it's possible to resume incomplete downloads and to continue seeding the completed downloads I had before. I copied the content of AppData but the user names are different and it gives me an error message.

is it a way other than using the same windows user name?

Either use right-click a torrent > Advanced > Set download location... or if there is a lot, you can mess around with the resume file, just don't screw up: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306
