Change the download limit ....help

i have been using utorrent 1.7.7 for a while and i wanted to try tye new utorrent 1.8, but every time i use it and i download the speed is 50-10 and i have 1MB connection, and there is nothing problem with the torrent, it's just like emule you can download from what you upload....

is there anyway to disable that feature from the advanced option (cuz i don't want to mess there)

If you're using (ridiculously low) per-torrent upload rate limits, don't.

as i said the torrent has a very good ratio and about 1000+ seeder and yes i download the same torrent using the utorrent 1.7.7 and the speed is 90+ but when i use utorrent 1.8 the speed is 50-10 a very low speed

you mean if my upload rate is low i wont get higher download speed

if so i download the same torrent 170MB using utorrent 1.7.7 the DL speed was at max and i limit the upload to 6KB/s and i finished it in 30 min, and i used the same torrent in utorrent 1.8 and DL speed was 50 with the same upload speed

and all i was asked how to disable that feature if i can

Are you downloading from the same peers/seeds both times?

Because in your case, it doesn't sound like v1.7.7 is necessarily better...it may have just gotten lucky.

Try uTorrent v1.8.1 beta, there were major connection issues fixed in it that have existed since before v1.8 (where they're particularly bad).

OK but utorrent 1.8 is like emule if you limit the upload 6 KB/s you get like 20 KB/s

and what i mean how to disable this feature in utorrent 1.8......

v1.8 will only auto-limit download speed max IF you set upload speed BELOW 6 KB/sec.

Download speed drops other than that may be due to other peers not wanting to upload much to you because you're giving them so little back in return.

It's done that way so people don't just leech.
