msharif12 Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Ok heres the deal. before I upgraded to vista my upload was a constant 100 KB/s now it wont go above 10 KB/s. What do you think could be causing this? I have the ports unblocked, windows firewall is disabled, and i my antivirus software ignores bt. Oh btw I have a wrt54g v2 @ v4.20.7 but I didn't have a problem till I upgraded to vista. Help would be appreciated
Switeck Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Rogers Cable ISP probably doesn't like you as a customer anymore. 1st and 2nd links in my signature to rule out other problems...but don't be totally surprised if nothing helps.
msharif12 Posted September 20, 2008 Author Report Posted September 20, 2008 well i know my isp doesnt allow BT traffic and throttles my speed unless i have encryption enabled. I upgraded to vista 2 days ago and when i was on xp 32 bit my upload worked fine. My download right now is flawless
