uTorrent changing RSS URL & to &

I've checked the url in my rss feed for one of my private torrent sites. The format to retrieve the torrent file is as follows:

http://uvw.xyz.com/fetch?fileid=xx&user=xx&pass=xx

This works perfectly when I open the rss feed directly in firefox and click on it, and looks exactly like it should when I copy the link location. However, when this feed is in uTorrent, nothing is ever downloading and when I right click and tell it to download, it waits 30 seconds, and gives me an error that the connection was refused by the tracker. This is understandable since the url that uTorrent says it tried is:

http://uvw.xyz.com/fetch?fileid=xx&user=xx&pass=xx

Has anyone else experienced this, found a work around?

That would be worth a try, but I'd have to set up Pipes (or something similar/better if you have any suggestions) to manhandle the link. Not impossible, just not fun.

My main question was whether this was a bug or a feature, though I'm leaning more towards bug (I am aware there is a separate bug thread, just wanted to see if anyone knew anything first). For one, & is the html escaped form for &, %26 is the url escaped &. If (for whatever reason) uTorrent is trying to filter out the &, it's doing it incorrectly. Either one would break the url just the same. I'm not sure why it would even attempt to modify the url except to try and strip out the :COOKIE: variables that you mentioned, and even then it should only take out :COOKIE: and everything following.

If no one else has experienced this I may try a fresh install and see if I can get this resolved before posting in the bug forum.
