niemad Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 Its not happenng with every torrent but sometimes i can open a new torrent and it will find seeds/peers but won't connect to them. for example i am currently trying to get something with 38362 seeds and 72119 peers. Now i know that the rato of that torrent is pretty severe but i have the torrent open 16 minutes and it has 8 seeds and 14 peers and has transfered 3.28 mg down and 6.48 mg up.What is stopping me from connecting to others, i have no router and in the past i haven't had this problem, only really started when i upgraded utorrent past 1.7.7. I am using utorrent 1.8.1 stable now.any help on this would be appriecated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Be sure you're setup for your connection http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php and that you're not connecting to too many peers TOTAL and PER TORRENT and that your upload isn't choking your download. Only 1 torrent open and still only connecting to 3 out of 92. i took the peers down from 200 to 100 and it cut my download speed in half. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
