Low budget network infractructure cant really take too many active connections without lags (high pings - slow webpages, ssh etc). Lags dont really affect transfer rate, but rather makes whole networks unresponsive and causes cheap nework routers to loose packets.I've been using other another p2p network, where I could just define"Don't establish (download) connections if download speed is above __ kBs"It works miracles IF you know your maximum bandwidth, which is pretty much standard in this times at low end ISPsI doubt that 1% of torrent users are connected to high end infractructure, where routers costs are 2000$+ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
