michael551
I have a one month old laptop with Vista Home Premium x64. For a month utorrent 1.8 and then 1.8.1 were working perfectly, until the trial for Norton 360 ended and I uninstalled it (using special Norton removal tool from Symantec website). After that my computer gives BSOD after 3-5 minutes utorrent 1.8.1 is on. Blue screen says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. No links to any system files on BSOD. Minidump file is here - http://rapidshare.com/files/159093637/Mini103008-08.dmp.html Installed AVG and checked the system for malware - it's clean. Crash happens when Windows Firewall is off and when it's on with utorrent added to the list of exceptions. Will appreciate any help. Thanks! GTHK
Your minidump says Rtlh64.sys is the culprit, according to this page it belongs to Realtek, your PC's networking hardware. Check Realteks website for a driver update: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/If it's not Realtek, well, figure out what that file goes to and update the driver
