bobsagget
1.preferences > advanced > net.upnp_tcp_only 2.set to *true3.PROFITi had tried everything, including turning off every built in protection on the router (a crappy WGR614) and still my internet would get destroyed by torrents and I had to limit the amount of connections. with this turned on it my internet works just fine while torrenting and I'm getting speeds similar to those i get when directly connected. Ultima
Hm, thanks for the heads up. I have a feeling UPnP with UDP forwarding is causing mayhem for quite a few users -- more than we may realize because of how insignificant the change seems. Several times now, I've seen disabling UPnP altogether help users with their problems... when in fact, it may actually be UDP forwarding that's actually causing troubles :/Recent example: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48561
