whats the deal on ssd and torrents, does it = god?

I heared some comments before about ssds not handeling small files well... and torrents are made up of lots of small files

would it be kickass to have 2 ssds in raid 0 or is it retarded compared to 2 reg drives when you factor in price

basically are ssds really good at random read/write???

thinking about spending 1200$ to get 2x x25-m 80gb in hd raid 0 on a dual gigabit seedbox... mmm speed

thoughts?

SSD is super overpriced and the throughput usually isn't that amazing.

You're better off getting some 10k or 15k RPM drives and putting them in a RAID. It'd cost less.
