pHghost Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I know the priority right now is to catch up with the Windows version, so don't take this as a "I want it now!" request, but a addition I would like to see in the future, if it is possible.Basically I would like to be able to associate each file in a torrent with a certain file on my HDD separately. That would essentially mean that I could move each file independently on the others, if I needed to. Also, it would be great if this feature could bypass the filename, if you associated the file in the torrent with a specific file on the HDD, it would only check the data.
thelittlefire Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Aka, file relocation implemented in the Windows version ;P
pHghost Posted December 20, 2008 Author Report Posted December 20, 2008 Does the Windows version let you associate files that have been renamed? It certainly didn't have this function when I last used it (which is some time back, true).
Nimiety Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 +1 this can be very useful when, say creating a torrent out of an archive or bulk storage disk without wanting to copy it into a general downloads folder (as per the preferences).
v16boulderer Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 I'd love to be able to tell utorrent where I've moved files to....
