dabluemassa420 Posted December 20, 2008 Report Share Posted December 20, 2008 so i have a regular desktop and a lap top which is connected through my linksys wrt54g v8 router. my desktop has perfect green connectivity with the port now i went through steps for my router and opened port 60000 for my router and use the settings on both my desktop and router but my laptop always stays yellow or red. i would really like to get the port forwarded correctly to the green so connectivity is not a problem i though i had it already done some times in a great once in a while it will go green but then as soon as u click port forwarding to check it says error no incoming connections allowed help would htis would be great thanks alot any one at all helmatt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 You have to use a different port for each computer, as the router can really only forward 1 port to 1 computer.1st and 2nd links in my signature for other troubleshooting stuff...
