Switeck Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Being that you seem to be on a educational/university link, I wouldn't recommend going higher than 1 megabit/second upload settings. Most have limited speeds per person and cannot afford to have everyone using more than maybe 100 kilobits/second each on average.I would also recommend disabling DHT and Resolve IPs. Right now I'm limitted to 1,5 though... rush hour I guess.Most the time I end up with a 2.5 ratio, even on huge torrents. I just cap it to 500 KBps because I don't want to get that much attention from IT.UC blocks torrenting but I'm running deluge inside a linux virtual machine. edit:I don't think this deserves it's own thread so I'll just go ahead, what's the default maximum half open in utorrent?
