tony51ss
I had a hard drive failure losing the u torrent programme but retaining all my downloaded files (seperate disc). On reloading u torrent none of my old files are recognised including those which were part finished. Is there any way of adding the original files please. moogly
Look at migration guide: http://www.utorrent.com/migration_guide.phpYou need to force a recheck for each reloaded torrent (stop the torrent, right click)
tony51ss
Problem is the files do not appear on my u torrent screen so I cannot do force recheck. Are the .torrent files kept with the programme ? If so, they have gone as well as the original utorrent I had.
moogly
.torrent files are saved by default in folder %appdata%\utorrentIf you didn't back up this folder, retrieve your torrents on trackers or indexers and reload them in uT as previously. tony51ss
Sorry to be a dinosaur - how do I retrieve the trackers please ?
moogly
Not the trackers, the torrents posted ON trackers. I think you search your torrents on trackers (websites). Do it again and redownload your torrents.
