Idlehand
I am a avid FFXI player as well as BT downloader. I have been running into issues when running them together. µTorrent seems to be working fine but when I have it running(not even d/l or seeding anything) I get contantly disconnected from FFXI. If I shut down µTorrent no problems. I have changed the port for µTorrent thinking that maybe a conflict but still the same issues. Im useing a old school Linksys Ver 4 WiFi B router with SBC Dsl. The computer is in the LAN connected directly to the Router. Im kinda a loss of what could be the problem. And if you say Play WOW ill Smack ya Any input would be greatly appreciated. Firon
FFXI FTW! WoW sucks. Um, it sounds like DHT is killing your router, many can't handle it. Turn it off in Torrent Options. May wanna restart the client.
spikespiegel
try limiting the amount of connections you have active on utorrent, bt loves to kill connections asap as it will grab as many open ports and as much bandwidth as possibleas for playing WoW instead of ffxi, well on the plus side you could pay more attention to your bt dl's due to the instability of WoW and how much it crashes, especially now with it's new patch
Vitae
Just curious, are you using the ipfilter? If you are it could be blocking an IP.At least that's what happens to me when I use PeerGuardian.
