Also, what should I do if I want to lower utorrent's HDD usage?? which settings should I change??Specs: E6420, 1GB ram, 8500GT, 72000RPM 160GB HDD. (Lazy to list the restXD). Ultima Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 It's not a question of "should," as neither of the two features affect things drastically except on extreme fringe cases.As for lowering hard drive usage, see the user manual's descriptions of the disk cache settings. Switeck Posted February 24, 2009 Report Share Posted February 24, 2009 2nd link in my signature -- fewer connected peers and seeds = faster speeds typically from each, since you can return more to each.
