Error: file because it is being used by another process

Since I updated to the most recent version of uTorrent (1.8.2, and this was happening with the previous version also) I have been consistently getting this message on random torrents (I know that sounds weird). If I re-check and continue enough times I can complete the download, but its very annoying. Has any one else dealt with this problem recently?
