somewhereoveryonda
I've seen there are a couple of posts with older versions of uTorrent, but these are from 2007/8. I have deleted app data and reinstalled uTorrent, like some of these posts recommended- but this obviously hasn't worked. I have free disk space and no admin problems (I am the admin!). I really don't know what to do! I'm using 1.8.2, and consulting upgrading to the beta. Does anyone have any suggestions?
moogly
Save the contents of folder %appdata%\utorrent then delete this folder.Create a new one (same name) and paste the contents you saved. Then test if uT continuees to display this error.Another solution: run uT as admin (right click on it) one time then run as usually. Test if uT continuees to display this error.
somewhereoveryonda
Still having trouble here..I tried the backup/delete data/new folder carry on and that just made it check 3 of the 4 torrents.. and the run as admin I tried (although I am the admin anyway). Is there anything else I can try?Thank you!Edit: I am now aware that windows firewall/live onecare could be blocking utorrent's access to the %appdata%/utorrent file.. how do I know if this is the case.. and how can I fix that?
