SirLucifer
Hi!I'm wondering if there isn't a flaw in the design of the torrent protocol, or maybe just in µTorrent? In downloading a pretty hard-to-get torrent (only two sources) why do these two sources "join-up" in downloading chunks?Does this not create more traffic, in more requests and negotiation?Wouldn't it be overall faster (and less traffic) if they sent me separate pieces?Regards,Jörgen
Ultima
Why would it be faster? They're still sending data for the piece to you at whatever rate they would have sent you any other piece, so your download rate wouldn't magically increase because they send different pieces.
