Does closing the torrent site slow speed down?

Probably a dumb question but after my torrent starts,

I close the site where I chose the torrent.

should I keep that web site open or does it not matter..

uT is completely not linked to your web browser or to be on the tracker webpage.

Pick your torrent, load it into uT and enjoy.

NB: maybe in 0.5% of cases, some 'private' trackers don't have a system of passkey in the announce, and you have to go regurlarly (few hours) to the website and identify your IP.

Anyway the tracker warns you (see Tracker tab in uT), and it's a rare case.
