(i changed to show in kilobytes.) and max download i got was 50-60. my ports are open. i chose 256k and it is going slow as. i tested to see if my isp throttles. test came up that they dont throttle. what could be problem? the torrent has many seeders aswell. i dont think thats the problem. i used a test download and max i got was like 5kb. Help plzzzzz. from last time i downloaded something i got max speed. the only thing i have changed is my plan to 1.5mb/256k. so i should be getting higher. whats up with this. The_Nephilim Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 Hi the problem is most likely that Your Modem is a combo onit Router/Modem combo.. and since you have that router and you added another router probally for wireless capabilities you now have the dreaded 2 Router syndrome..But fear not there is hope you can try to Bridge your modem and then setup Port forwarding in the NetGear something Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The_Nephilim Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 well then you are still Probally in a NAT as the Netcomm is probally configured as a Router..Try this Plug directly into the modem and goto Status or similar and look for the WAN IP what are the 1st two octets??
