Strange events with Utorrent

Hi all, ive been downloading a couple of torrents recently today and got over 65% on most of them (4gb files) and i exited Utorrent to do a speed test and try to improve performance. When i loaded Utorrent back up it checked all the downloads as it usually does but started some of them from 0%.

Is there anyway for me to get Utorrent to find the previously downloaded data?

Do a scandisk on your hard drive/s. Files may be damaged or lost!

If the files are found as lost allocation units, they appear in root folder ( C:\ for instance) and probably have a .CHK extension. You'll have to move and rename them if that's the case.
